6-S Shaking Table

The 6-S Shaking Table is a widely used gravity separation machine designed for the concentration and recovery of fine-grained minerals. It separates valuable minerals from gangue according to differences in specific gravity, particle size, and particle shape.
It is widely used in the beneficiation of gold, tungsten, tin, iron, manganese, chromite, coal, and other metallic and non-metallic minerals.
The 6-S shaking table can be used for roughing, cleaning, and scavenging, and different deck configurations can be selected for coarse sand, fine sand, and ore slime.
The equipment mainly consists of:
Table Deck β’ Transmission Mechanism β’ Supporting Frame β’ Feed Trough β’ Water Trough β’ Slope Adjustment Device β’ Machine Base
With its simple structure, stable operation, and high separation efficiency, the 6-S shaking table is suitable for both mineral processing plants and laboratory/test applications.
Working Principle
The 6-S shaking table separates minerals through the combined action of asymmetric reciprocating motion, gravity, and flowing water.
During operation, slurry is continuously fed onto the table deck through the feed trough, while wash water flows across the inclined deck.
Under the combined effects of the table's reciprocating motion, water flow, gravity, and friction:
High-density mineral particles tend to remain closer to the deck surface and move toward the concentrate discharge area.
Lower-density particles are more easily carried across the deck by the water flow toward the tailings side.
Particles with different densities and sizes gradually spread into a fan-shaped separation zone.
This allows different productsβincluding concentrate, middlings, and tailingsβto be collected separately along the discharge edge.
The operating parameters, including stroke, frequency, deck inclination, feed rate, and wash-water volume, can be adjusted according to ore characteristics to achieve the desired separation performance.
Key Advantages
The combination of reciprocating motion and water flow provides effective separation of minerals with different specific gravities, making the machine particularly suitable for fine-grained heavy mineral recovery.
High Concentration RatioThe shaking table provides a visible mineral separation zone and can produce high-grade concentrate while effectively separating middlings and tailings.
Adjustable Operating ParametersThe stroke, operating frequency, deck inclination, feed rate, and wash-water flow can be adjusted according to different feed materials and particle sizes.
Wide Range of ApplicationsSuitable for processing:
Gold β’ Tungsten β’ Tin β’ Iron β’ Manganese β’ Chromite β’ Coal β’ Other Heavy Minerals
Different deck types can be selected for coarse sand, fine sand, and ore slime.
Simple Operation & MaintenanceThe equipment features a relatively simple mechanical structure, convenient adjustment, and straightforward maintenance, helping reduce operating and maintenance requirements.
Low Chemical ConsumptionGravity separation mainly relies on density differences, mechanical motion, and water flow, and generally does not require chemical reagents during the separation process.
